The kitchen, in motion

A slow camera move made from our photo of the finished kitchen. It plays silently when it scrolls into view.

Kitchen and island

Spanish character, a working kitchen

The kitchen keeps the home's Spanish character and gives it a working core: a long island with seating, a professional range under a plaster hood, a white farmhouse sink below the window and a paneled refrigerator that reads as cabinetry. Arched niches lined with patterned tile and floating shelves frame the breakfast area.

Terracotta floor tile, warm wood shaker cabinets with glass-front uppers, and brass pendants and hardware tie the room together.

In the baths, the palette shifts to glazed green tile and brass. The primary bath has a freestanding tub, a walnut-tone double vanity under arched brass mirrors, terracotta floor tile and an arched shower wrapped in patterned green-and-white tile. A second bath uses deep green glazed tile with brass trim and a floating walnut vanity.
