We're probably not the right fit if…
- You need a handyman, a quick repair or a single small fix. A local handyman or specialty trade will serve you faster and at a better price.
- You're choosing purely on the lowest bid. Our proposals include the scope, management and documentation that cheaper bids often leave out, and we won't trim those to win on price.
- You'd prefer to work on a handshake or verbal agreements. We put scope, allowances and changes in writing, every time.
- The property is outside our service area.

What kinds of projects does 1 Degree take on?
Our focus is new custom homes and rebuilds, full home remodels, and additions including ADUs. We also take on select kitchen and bathroom remodels, usually as part of a larger scope or for homeowners we've worked with before.
Is there a minimum project size?
Our projects generally start at around $15,000 for the primary construction scope. Below that, the planning, permitting and project management that make our process work are hard to justify, and a smaller specialist is usually the better value for you.
If you're early, we also offer design and permitting as its own engagement, so you can get plans and approvals in hand before committing to construction.
Do you do small repairs or handyman work?
No. We're set up to run defined, permitted construction projects with a dedicated project manager. For repairs and small fixes, a handyman or a specialty trade is a better match.
Why do you insist on everything in writing?
Because most remodeling disputes start with something that was said but never written down. A documented scope, clear allowances and written change orders protect you as much as they protect us, and they make it easy to see exactly what you're paying for. How we price
