The reveal

One color, three textures

The study is built around a single color carried through three finishes. The raised-panel base cabinets and the built-in frames are lacquered olive, and the walls are hand-troweled olive Venetian plaster, so the millwork and the room read as one surface with a soft, clouded depth.

Above the base cabinets, open shelving in white oak is backlit with concealed LED strips, which washes the shelves in warm light and leaves a plastered niche at the center for the desk wall.

Overhead, a slatted wood ceiling carries linear track lighting, and wide-plank white oak floors run wall to wall.
